Petri Dishes

Petri dishes are manufactured from heat resistant (up to 80°C) clear polystyrene and are available in a range of designs for microbiological applications.

The standard 92 x 16 mm [Ø x height] Petri dish, which is compatible for use with most automated filling systems, is available non-sterile and gamma-sterilised. Options include square dishes (100 x 100 x 20 mm), dishes with or without ventilation cams, and two-compartment split plates (with cams only).

The DishRack Petri dish rack meets individual requirements for safe storage, transportation, and organisation of Petri dishes. The P.O.S. 720 Petri dish organisation system represents an important step towards the automation of bacteriology laboratories. Dependant upon test requirements, approximately 720 Petri dishes per hour can be automatically sorted and barcode labeled.

The standard 92x16mm Petri dish is also available with the GS 100 Microbial Air Sampler.
